I have lived in Northwest Ohio for most of my life and I have frequented many of the restaurants in the area. I am always eager to try new things, as well as savor the classics. While I love many of the local venues that have been open for years, I'm always very excited to see new restaurants open in the area!
Before I try out a new place, or visit an established setting for the first time, I like to do a bit of research. I look for websites, online menus, reviews, etc... Nothing bothers me more than a business that has no website or social media page and very few reviews on travel sites. It makes it hard for potential customers to decide to give it a shot. This is a problem that plagues most of the restaurants in the area. They are not well publicized!
The purpose of this blog is to help promote the local restaurants that are doing it all right, but have not taken advantage of the wonderful world of online media. I want to share my experience with you, and help provide you with reasons to step inside and try the breadsticks, sip the coffee, and savor dessert!
On the other side of the spectrum, if there are places that have substandard food or cleanliness, it is my duty to point it out in hopes that they catch wind, and make changes. I am not a harsh critic by any means, but I will be sure to be honest and unbiased when reviewing any restaurant.
